Welcome note
We 're pleased to welcome you to PRE9: Protection and Restoration of the Environment to be held in
Kefalonia (Ionian Sea) 29/6/08-3/7/08.
This is the 9th of a series of biennial conferences on this very important topic. It will bring together
representatives from academic institutions, industry and public organizations aiming at:
- Exchange of information, experiences and achievements in environmental protection.
- Evaluation of currently applied technologies and presentation of innovative ideas for the protection of the environment.
- Identification of educational, regulatory and research needs for environmental protection.
The Conference venue is the beautiful Ionian island of Kefalonia. Some of the most beautiful sunny beaches in Greece coupled
with excellent local culture and cuisine may well be taken advantage of, in parallel with participation in the Conference.
