About Greece

Greece has for many years been the synonym for summer holidays, due to the shiny sun and the
emerald sea. Its exquisite natural scenery attracted thousands of tourists, who, every year
enjoyed the calm seas - the Aegean and the Ionian - as much as a kind of nightlife that can
be inspired only by the Greek temperament.
Moreover, Greece has been -as still is - the land of legends, history and civilization.
Philosophy, mathematics and principal values, such as democracy, freedom and hospitality
where born here to be later spread all over the world. The Olympic spirit started in Greece
and is nowadays travelling all over the world engaging athletes from all nations in noble
competition, combining history, culture, peace and sports.

So, Greece keeps evolving. The combination in question -that of the course of history and the
receptivity to progress- has turned it into one of the most appealing countries all over the world.

-road networks, airports, ports, hospitals etc- has improved both the citizens' and visitors'
